The second round of discussions on the settelment of charter took place on 23/06/2016 at HO. Bank was represented by the DMD (HRD), CGM(MKM) , CGMs (Selvarajji and Sahooji) and other officers from HRMD and PPD. AINBOA was represented by the negotiation team comprising of President, VPs, GS, OS, ZS (Central) and Secretary (Bihar Unit).
The discussions were held in a very cordial atmosphere and bank has presented in the meeting the proposed details of revised Pay and Allowances. It was heartening to note that the proposed revision is as per the revised pay and allowances as prevailing in RBI.
Bank has also indicated that Pension Upgradation and Package on Compassionate Appointment will be taken up shortly and it will be prudent to wait for the same to settel at RBI. bank also indicated the PP to grade A and B at par with RBI and as demaded by the AINBOA is an internal issue and hence it is being dealt with seperately.
AINBOA has taken time upto 27/06/2016 for reverting back to the bank on the proposed revised pay and allowances. The idea is to go threadbare into the banks proposal in order to ACHIEVE COMPLETE PARITY WITH RBI IN ALL RESPECTS, before according the final acceptance.
AINBOA has also indicated that the issue of Pension and Compassionate Package is of utmost importance to the officers fraternity and that while we do appreciate the bank's stance to wait for RBI to act on it. It is imperative on part of NABARD to set the ball rolling by concurrently examining the issue and iron-out the existing anamolies in both the pension Scheme as also the Compassionate Package vis-a-vis that prevailing in RBI. The bank's response to this demand of ours was favourable.
AINBOA has also strongly demanded settlement of PP to grades 'A' n 'B" officers at par with that in RBI issue before and/ or along with the settlement of Charter as it has been already overdelayed. The bank has assured to settle the soon.
Other issues such as ways and means to increase the organisational productivity, use of access control system to mark the attendance of officers and lowering the number of spells of leave for counting towards bad leave record (on line to that prevailing in RBI) were also discussed in detail and AINBOA has ensured that legitimate interest of the officers community on these accounts are not compromised. Though on principle agrement has been reached on these issues, it has been further decided that HRMD will discuss the issue further with AINBOA before issuance of operational instructions.
FRIENDS , WE ARE HAPPY TO NOTE THAT CHAIRMAN , DMDs AND OTJHER SENIOR EXECUTIVES OF THE BANK ARE VERY POSITIVE AND FAVOURABLY INCLINED TOWARDS AN EARLY SETTELMENT OF CHARTER OF DEMANDS AND OTHER ISSUES. WE ARE SURE THAT BANK WILL BE TAKING PRO-ACTIVE STEPS TO ENSURE IMPLIMENTATION OF THE CHARTER OF DEMANDS VERY SOON.
HOWEVER , IT IS STILL A LONG WAY TO GO BEFORE WE CAN FINALLY SAY THAT 'ITS DONE'...SO MEMBERS ARE REQUESTED TO REMAIN UNITED AND VIGILANT. WE ALSO ONCE AGAIN REQUEST EACH ONE OF YOU NOT TO GIVE ANY CREDENCE TO HEARSAY AND RUMOURS AND DISCOURAGE AND UNDERMINE SUCH MALACIOUS AND COUNTER PRODUCTIVE ACTIVITIES.
FRIENDS , REST ASSURED THAT INTEREST & DIGINITY OF EACH AND EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF AINBOA SHALL BE PRESERVED AND ENHANCED WITH THE ACTIVE SUPPORT OF EACH ONE OF YOU. WE ALSO, AS HITHERTO, CONTINUE TO WORK, WITH ADDED ZEAL, FOR THE UPWARD PROGRESS OF OUR GREAT ORGANISATION....NABARD.
WITH FRATERNAL GREETINGS
